This course is a detailed exploration of the legal systems of the United States and Canada. It is designed to provide students with a foundational understanding of the common law tradition, the structure of government, and the protection of rights in both nations. We will analyze and compare documents in the U.S. Constitution and the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
